This morning I had some wonderful snuggle time with A before E woke up. We cuddled on the couch while I read God's Word. I was reading Isaiah 40 and verse 12 caught my attention:
Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand,
or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens?
Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket,
or weighed the mountains on the scales
and the hills in a balance?
The magnificence of God awed me, but what really struck me was the fact that the same hand that holds waters and weighs mountains perfectly formed the sweet, soft tiny face that was snuggled so gently close to mine. I love my babies and I love my almighty heavenly Father!
